We invite all interested 1Ls and 2Ls to come learn what it means to be part of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy – a nationally recognized and ranked international law journal. As a Staff Editor you can:
- write a Survey Paper focusing on current international developments for possible publication
- gain greater proficiency with your Bluebooking skills and discover new sources that can help with future research projects
- contribute to the journal’s blog, The View From Above
- earn 1-2 credits per semester
The write-on process comes in two parts. Part I is a skills component testing your knowledge of the Bluebook and skills needed for cite and sourcing. Part II is an 8-12 page written component consisting of either a case comment, book review, or general survey paper. Please join the “Denver Journal of International Law and Policy Candidacy” group on TWEN for the packets and further details.
We have three candidacy periods per year: Summer, Fall, and Spring. Currently, we are in our Summer cycle.
